Being called to help others is a great gift.
If you’ve been called by God to contribute your time, talent, and
prayers to missions in Africa, Uganda Christian Solutions welcomes you.
Because Uganda Christian Solutions is not a national organization
heavy with managers and bureaucrats. UCS founder Nancy Denardo
assures with confidence that all donations go directly to the intended
project.
“We are not a typical African charity. At UCS, we are local,
church-going folk who travel personally to Uganda and Sudan to work on
the ground and with the people – building, evangelizing, giving medical
aid, and teaching.”
If you want to do more than donate, please complete the form on the
right side of this page. We’ll be in contact with you shortly.

Projects
Bwakama Student Sponsorship Program
Bwakama school which is housed at Bwakama United Methodist Church in Busia
Uganda now has 132 students. Most are orphans and at present are only getting
one meager meal a day due to drought and lack of money.
They have very few school supplies and most classes sit under trees for
instruction. Through Bwakama Student Sponsorship Program a student who attends
the school can receive school supplies, a uniform, two meals a day, and medicine
when needed. Their teachers salary will also be supplemented, all for just $15 a
month. To begin providing for a child through Uganda Christian Solutions please
email Sally Waldorf at
sallywaldorf@gmail.com.
Contributions will be received payable to Riverside United Methodist Church in
Macon, Georgia who will be serving as the administrators of this program for
UCS.
Karen’s Wells Project
Water wells in Africa mean life itself. Clean water is very
difficult to find in Uganda and Sudan. Drilling a water well on
the compound is budgeted at $3,500.00. This is an enormous budget by
Ugandan standards, but a new well can change lives forever, improving
both health and economic conditions.
USC Education Fund
The Ugandan government provides free education for children through
elementary school. Even though the lessons are free, the children
still need uniforms, shoes, lunch, and school supplies.
It is typical for an Ugandan family to make less than $500 US each year,
making any educational costs very difficult to manage. There are
opportunities for education, but help is needed to manage the costs, as
every level above elementary school requires tuition.
Through the UCS Education Fund, people have the opportunity to sponsor a
student, either in helping provide the supplies needed or in assisting
with tuition. These scholarships can change a life.
Currently, UCS members are sponsoring two university students, a high
school student, three seminary students, one trade school student, and
four elementary school students.

Mission Work Trip
If you are unable to make a donation, consider becoming a part of our
next mission trip. Our upcoming UCS VIM (volunteers in mission)
work trip to Uganda is scheduled for January of 2012. The
purpose of any UCS outreach is to connect people to the love of Jesus
Christ by worshipping together, serving together, praying together,
building relationships, and meeting needs.
This work trip will have 3 components: medical, dental, and
eye care. If you think you or someone you know may be
interested and called to this type of outreach, please email Nancy Denardo at Nancy@UgandaChristianSolutions.org.
Evangelize
One important way to help UCS that doesn’t cost anything is to
evangelize God’s word and the mission of UCS. By spreading this
important news to everyone you know, you are already doing much to
support Uganda Christian Solutions. God works through all of us.
Do your part by educating others on how they can contribute to the good
works of UCS in Uganda and Sudan.
Spreading the word is like making a donation to the future of UCS.
