Providing Personalized
Aid to Uganda and Sudan
Uganda
Christian Solutions was founded by Nancy Denardo, a registered nurse
from McKeesport, Pennsylvania, along with native Ugandans, the Revs.
Patrick and Rachel Isabirye and David and Edith Mubiike, our
accountants.
Patrick and Rachel are ordained pastors and serve the Mt. Olives UM
congregation in Mukono, Uganda. David and Edith are CPAs and owner
and founders of Bethel Training Institute in Jinja, Uganda.
At Uganda Christian Solutions, we are ordinary working people who make a
difference after the work day is done as a part of our personal
commitment to providing Christian solutions to poverty, health needs,
and lack of education in Uganda and Sudan.
Nancy Denardo
Co-founder Nancy Denardo is a full time registered nurse at UPMC
Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Since 1991, Nancy
has been a leader or participant on several United Methodist VIM
(Volunteers in Mission) work trips to Uganda, Sudan, Kenya, Rwanda,
Burundi, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique.
The mission of these work trips has been to build churches, schools, and
clinics. On them, Nancy has worked with aids orphans, helped to
provide immunizations and health education, worked in construction, and
even helped repair seminary students’ housing.
Her involvement in this type of outreach led Nancy to the personal
commitment of founding Uganda Christian Solutions - a hands-on approach
to helping others through the personal efforts of UCS members dedicated
to providing services in a transparent and fully accountable way.
